Performance Based Test/ Mid year Brush Up

This test will be graded once you are done. Make sure you follow the instructions for each image.

PHOTOSHOP.
Use the specified tool to extract the main part of the image out of its background. Use the Layer via Copy command to remove part unless specified not to. You have 20 minutes

Use the Elliptical Marquee Tool to extract Jupiter into its own layer

Use the Magic Wand Tool to remove the white from the star fruit. You do not need to use the Layer Via Copy command.

Use the Magnetic Lasso Tool to extract the strawberry into its own layer

Use the Polygonal Lasso Tool to extract the building.

Use the Quick Selection Tool to extract the fish.

Use the Rectangular Marquee Tool to remove one of the blue faces.

Photoshop Continued 

All the parts of the six (6) images you removed. You are to move them all into a new document, Name the Layers and arrange the layers in reverse order they appear on this page. You have 5 minutes.

Illustrator

In this section, you are to redraw this elephant in illustrator, including the coloring. You have 20 minutes.

Illustrator to Photoshop Painting.

You will use this as an example of your painting final. Make a ball and a couple of highlight areas in Illustrator.

Move the image over to photoshop. and color it. There should be these layers.
- Main color
- Highlight Color
- Shadows
- Outline
If you add a ground shadow that looks correct, you'll get 2 bonus points for the whole test.

You have 15 minutes to complete this.
