Assignment 3
This assignment will move us from basic functions of Photoshop and Illustrator and into the more fine art side of the programs. You will be taking pictures of yourself and creating a self-portrait using both Photoshop and Illustrator together.
In this project, you will be using tools like
- Photoshop
o Paint Brush
o Paint Bucket
o Burn
o Dodge
o Smudge
o Blur
o Magic wand
- Illustrator
o Pencil
o Paint Brush
o Line
o Add/Remove anchors
o Direct Selection tool
In addition to these tools, you will work on
- Layer Organization
- Layer Labeling
- Quick Photoshop palette creation
The requirements for this assignment
- Organization
- Create an image that looks like yourself
- You will need to complete one to two images(s) of yourself total. These images can live in the same picture.
- You will need to complete one to two images(s) of yourself total. These images can live in the same picture.
- Color the image in Photoshop
- Shade the image in Photoshop
- Create a background that works with the image
- Complete the artist statement
When this project is turned in, I will be taking
- Your illustrator image

Picture day information
All pictures must be taken in this class. Nothing from your phone's gallery, or social media can
be used. All computers have cameras on them, We will use those. We also have a small photo
studio in the back that we can use for more dynamic images
